Infrastructure, Cloud & Platforms

Most infrastructure problems don’t begin with an outage.
They start quietly.
A missed update. Configuration drift. Capacity tightening. A recovery path never tested.
By the time a system fails, the problem may have been building for months. Keeping it online is only part of the job. The conditions behind it need managing every day.
Manage the conditions
behind availability.
These are the conditions we manage
while the systems are still running.
01
Configuration, patching and protection
Maintain approved baselines, investigate drift and patch
exceptions, and verify that protection remains
operational. Plan updates around service dependencies
and maintenance windows, then check the result.
02
Compute, storage and service health
Track host contention, storage latency, cluster state and
application health together. Investigate the underlying
constraint behind the alert, then address capacity
pressure before it affects service.
03
Failover and recovery readiness
Check whether surviving hosts have capacity to absorb
a failure, replication is healthy, and recovery
dependencies are understood. A successful backup job
alone does not prove the service can be recovered.

Infrastructure is more than cloud.
We manage the platforms, their dependencies and the conditions that keep them healthy.
Virtualisation & compute
Host health, clustering, resource allocation and hypervisor lifecycle.
Storage & data platforms
Latency, capacity, replication, multipathing and resilience.
Hyperconverged infrastructure
Node health, cluster capacity and coordinated platform updates.
Cloud & hybrid infrastructure
Workloads, configuration, connectivity, identity dependencies and consumption.
Microsoft 365
Tenant configuration, service health, email flow and identity dependencies.

Issues get picked up before they become problems.
The disciplines that keep infrastructure healthy.
Six connected disciplines cover platform health, patching, configuration, protection, application control and logs.
Infrastructure monitoring
Host, cluster, storage and service health are monitored together. Capacity trends, resource contention and application dependencies give engineers the context to investigate alerts. DC9 engineers assess the issue, act on the cause and verify that service health has recovered.
Patch & vulnerability management
Vulnerabilities are assessed against the infrastructure in use, with exposure and business impact setting the priorities. Updates are planned around dependencies, maintenance windows and rollback requirements. DC9 verifies installation and service health after deployment, tracking failed updates and deferred remediation through to resolution.
Server hardening & configuration management
Servers and platforms are maintained against approved configuration baselines. Unnecessary services, excessive permissions and insecure settings are addressed without disrupting legitimate workloads. Controlled changes, drift investigations and documented exceptions keep the intended configuration clear.
Endpoint & server protection
Agent health, policy application, updates and reporting are monitored across the server estate. DC9 investigates missing or degraded protection and reviews exclusions so application requirements do not create gaps in coverage.
Application & data control
Application and script policies define what is trusted to run, with controlled exceptions for legitimate operational needs. Data safeguards reflect the workload and the information it handles. These controls protect services and data while allowing integrations and maintenance tasks to work.
Log monitoring
System, security and service logs support investigation of failures, unusual activity and recurring faults. Infrastructure health and recent changes provide context, helping DC9 engineers trace causes across dependent systems.

Run and Secure
Working together across your infrastructure.
Run keeps it operating.
We manage platform health, capacity, patching and configuration
so services remain dependable.
Secure keeps protection effective.
We assess exposure, validate security controls and investigate threats across the same
environment.
From security finding to verified fix, our teams carry the work through together.
Managed properly, every day.
Infrastructure stays dependable when planned changes are checked and followed through to a verified result.
Discuss your maintenance priorities   →
01
Assess
Review health, exposure, capacity and support lifecycles.
02
Plan
Agree dependencies, maintenance windows and rollback.
03
Change
Implement approved changes with the right checks and communication.
04
Verify
Check service health and confirm the intended result.
05
Improve
Resolve recurring faults and update the operating baseline.
When maintenance reveals a need for modernisation, we bring a recommendation and a
planned next step.
Infrastructure Modernisation ↗
A clear view of where things stand.
Monthly condition reports bring health, patching, capacity and cost together.
Live dashboards keep that view available between reviews.
Platform health
Service health, incidents and the actions taken.
Capacity runway
Capacity trends and the constraints that need planning.
End-of-life calendar
Support deadlines and replacements to budget for.
PROVEN IN A LIVE RETAIL ENVIRONMENT
650 stores.
Three countries.
A staged, two-year platform rebuild kept stores
trading while improving ERP performance by
approximately 10× and reducing data-centre
power by around half.
A managed transition, with trading continuity
throughout.
Less operational burden.
More room to move.
Your team should not have to chase platform faults, coordinate every supplier or
discover capacity limits during a busy period. We manage the day-to-day
condition of the infrastructure and bring forward the decisions that need your
attention.
Talk about reducing operational burden   →
Built around your environment.
On-premises, cloud or hybrid, managed around the
workloads you rely on.
Certificates, licences and support dates tracked ahead of
renewal.
Supplier coordination stays with the team managing the
issue.
Changes planned around service dependencies, then
verified.
